On the afternoon of May 19, the 21st lecture of Daqian Lecture opened in the lecture hall of Qiuzhen Building, East Campus. Cai Yong, executive vice chairman of the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce Mergers and Acquisitions Association and vice chairman of the Council of Global Mergers and Acquisitions Research Center, made a report entitled Fighting Securities Violations and Crimes. The Dean of the School of Accountancy Zhai Shengbao presided over the report. More than 300 teachers and students from each school listened to the report.
Cai Yong briefly described the concept of securities crime and the five characteristics of current securities and futures crime cases. Combined with my country's Criminal Law and Securities Law, he selected Xintai shares, Zhonghengtong Company, Tang Hanbo and others for the case of manipulating the securities market, China Fund Six typical cases, including insider trading case, ICBC Credit Suisse insider trading case and Haixin Food false information case, conduct detailed analysis of securities violations and crimes so that teachers and students can intuitively understand the negative impact of securities violations and crimes on my country's securities market. Cai Yong summarized the reasons for the current ineffective crackdown on securities crimes, and proposed a solution path for the establishment of a securities class action system and a securities civil compensation mechanism. In the interactive session, Cai Yong gave detailed answers to questions related to the securities field that teachers and students were concerned about.
In the summary, Zhai Shengbao pointed out that the report has a clear knowledge structure, combines securities crimes with national laws, and the theoretical explanations echo typical cases. It has taken the cocoon from the numerous and complicated phenomena, and deepened teachers and students' understanding of securities violations and crimes. It is of great significance to carry out research in related fields, such as the academic vision of students, the promotion of professional ethics and the development of related fields.
