On the morning of December 21st, A MPAcc public welfare lecture from accounting celebrities, sponsored by the Accounting Society of China and the National Steering Committee of Postgraduate Education of Accounting Degree, and organized by the School of Accounting, Anhui University of Finance and Economics(AUFE), was held in the graduate lecture hall of Bowen building of our university. Professor Sun Guangguo, the selected candidate of the accounting celebrities project of the Ministry of Finance, and Dean and Doctoral Supervisor of the School of Accounting, Dongbei University of Finance and Economics, gave a lecture on the theme of capital market accounting chaos and accounting information quality supervision. The lecture was presided over by Professor Zhai Shengbao, Dean of the School of Accounting, AUFE. Teachers and students of our university listened to the lecture.
Sun Guangguo first summarized some chaos in the current capital market, saying that there were deficiencies in the selection and confirmation of accounting policies, the change of accounting estimates, CPA audit and accounting nature, etc, and combined with Youngor, Dong E E Jiao, Chuying Agro-pastoral Group and other cases to make a profound and simple analysis. Then, Professor Sun explained accounting information quality supervision: from pre-audit to post-inquiry. At present, with the general trend of the overall implementation of the registration system, the proportion of domestic direct financing is low, which is difficult to meet the needs of equity financing in the development of economic transformation. The number of inquiries is also increasing year by year, focusing on key operating indicators, such as monetary and interest-bearing liabilities and the capitalization of R&D investments. He put forward that the inquiry is still insufficient at present. Finally, Professor Sun introduced the accounting standards and financial accounting work. He put forward the current situation of the accounting work of enterprises and the latest adjustment of relevant international accounting standards. In the end, Professor Sun gave relevant suggestions to students, advocating that we should actively pay attention to the trends of international accounting and domestic accounting standards.
MPAcc public welfare lectures from accounting celebrities are national public welfare activities jointly initiated by the Accounting Society of China and the National Steering Committee of Postgraduate Education of Accounting Degree, which aim to give full play to the important role of accounting celebrities in leading and promoting the sustained and prosperous development of accounting education in China, and provide more opportunities for MPAcc students to learn and communicate with well-known accounting scholars, and improve the comprehensive quality of MPAcc students. All the lecture fees from the invited experts and scholars will be donated to the event organizers for the establishment of MPAcc student awards/scholarships, and the event organizers will provide financial assistance to the excellent MPAcc students from poor families and help them successfully complete their studies.
