On May 23rd, the Party Committee of the School of Accounting invited Ge Hengyun, a member of the "Five Elders Report Group" in the Next Generation Working Committee of our university, to make a keynote lecture for Active Applicants for Party Membership. The theme of this lecture is "carrying forward the Yan'an Spirit and advancing in the great era". This activity is aim to comprehensively and deeply study the struggling history of the Party for a hundred years, inherit and carry forward the Party's fine tradition and work style.
In the lecture, Teacher Ge Hengyun profoundly expounded the ideological details of the Yan'an spirit, so that students could understand the specific connotation of the Yan'an spirit. He said that at the new centenary historical starting point since the Party has founded, we should draw the strength of belief from the Yan'an spirit, find the gap in Party spirit, and calibrate the orientation, so as to study history for getting truth, growing confidence, advocating morality, increasing practice. At the same time, he encouraged students to inherit and carry forward the Yan'an spirit, adhere to the political orientation, seek truth from facts, keep the original mission in mind, adhere to hard struggle, and give full play to the leading role of Active Applicants for Party Membership.
This study is an important measure to create a new normal for the study of Party history in the School of Accounting and to promote the construction of the Red School. Through the study of Party history, we should guide teachers and students to draw experience and wisdom from the development of Party history, have the courage to reform and innovate, face up to difficulties, and take on responsibilities, so as to make unremitting efforts to comprehensively build a modern socialist country and realizes the Chinese Dream of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
